Undermount, Drop-In, and Vessel Sinks Each Require Different Installation Steps
Not every sink installs the same way. Drop-in sinks rest in the cutout and seal along the rim. Undermount sinks attach below the counter surface and need a clean edge inspection first. Vessel sinks sit on top and require a different faucet hole plan.
We confirm the sink type early so the right method is used from the start. In Bucktown and Lincoln Park bathrooms, vessel and undermount styles are common in tighter vanity spaces. We adjust the faucet hole layout and seal to the countertop surface so the finish looks clean.
